Tool Room Engineer needed in Plastic Moulding Industry Job Description Your Contribution: Mold Design & Development: Creating and refining detailed 2D and 3D mold designs using CAD/CAM software, ensuring they are optimized for manufacturability, efficiency, and part quality. Polyfabrication Expertise: Overseeing and actively participating in the fabrication of injection molds, including hands-on use of CNC machines, EDM, surface grinders, and other precision tooling equipment. Shifting & Setup Management: Taking ownership of the mold shifting and setup process, coordinating with the production team to ensure molds are correctly installed, tested, and ready for production, minimizing downtime. Maintenance & Repair: Performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mold issues, and executing timely repairs to ensure tooling longevity and consistent product quality. Continuous Improvement: Analyzing mold performance data, identifying opportunities for design or process improvements, and implementing changes to enhance production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
